Recent Pics

Here's my 4 month old baby!! He is growing and changing so fast, I can't believe it!. I thought I had every baby toy on the planet, but apparently I needed a bumbo too. SO here's the new Bumbo. Alex likes sitting in it and chewing on toys, blankets, or his hands. Jane and Ryan also love to sit in it!

Yes, my baby has big eyes!!! It's funny the comments that come after "look at those big eyes!" Some of them are: "he looks so alert", "he looks so awake", "he looks so old", and my favorite, "does he ever blink?" I just always laugh about comments people make about babies. One person will say "look how skinny he is" and the very next will say "what a chunker!" I never know how to respond to any comments b/c to me he is, of course, just my perfect baby with big beautiful blue eyes!

Jeff took the kids camping in the backyard. The tent seemed too small because Jane felt the need to bring every toy into the tent with her.

I always try to get a parents' backyard during the 2 weeks the tulips are out.

Can you tell Jane LOVES having her picture taken?!!!

Jane: "Can I go play in the caboyzon?"
Me: "the what?"
Jane: "the caboyzon, where I swing on the hammock!"
Me: "Oh, the gazebo?"
Jane: "Yea, the gabeezo!"

Easter Pics

We took some Easter pics at Target yesterday. It was hard getting 6 kids ages 4 and under to sit still, so we felt lucky that we got 1 smile out of any of them! Oh and then, the camera broke, so we had to do them all again! They all looked cute in their matching outfits, but I have a feeling we will hear a different opinion when they are all teens.

My little soccer player!

Jane loved her first soccer game today! It was cold, but not snowing. I was worried she wouldn't like playing in the cold, but she had a smile on her face the whole time!

Treats at the end of the game might have been the favorite part!

Jane and her friend, Abby. I'm so glad she has a friend on the team!

Look at that amazing form!

The funny thing was that they haven't even had a practice yet! So hopefully she will understand the game a little more as they have more practices. She did remember that she couldn't use her hands. She chased after the ball, and even got a few good kicks in. It was fun to watch, but a little cold for Alex, Ryan, and me, so we watched mostly from the car. I look forward to some warmer weather games!

Vegas Baby!!

We went down to Vegas this past weekend for a wedding. Jeff's cousin, Dave got married to Elyssa and the wedding was just beautiful!

Here are the beautiful bridesmaids:

The kids had so much fun at the reception! They ran around eating whatever they could reach and playing with all the kids. And they have all those wonderful bridesmaids (who are all Jeff's cousins, Dave's sisters) to play with too! And Alex was happy to always have someone to hold him.

The next day we went to Caesar's Palace to see the aquarium and go to FAO Schwarz. The aquarium (and by aquarium, I mean just the 1 giant fish tank) was great, but apparently the toy store has closed. And this is where my camera dies and I never got around to buying new batteries! Very typical of any vacation it seems.

We spent the rest of our time there hanging out with friends and family. The kids were amazing and slept great in the hotel and were very good during our drives to and from Vegas. Even Alex did well! I was so nervous about him, but we was my good baby like usual! The only time they all lost it was when we came to a dead stop on the freeway because of an accident. We were just past Payson! SO close to home and then it took us over an hour to finally get there. When we got home the kids were happy to be back with their own things. Jane came in and said, "Do you know why I'm crying a little? It's because I'm just so happy to be home!" Silly girl!
