Me, Jane, Jeff (brother), and Ryan
We're doing swim lessons right now at Scera Pool. Jeff and I go every day with Jane and Ryan for the Mom and Child class. My brother, Jeff, is nice enough to go sometimes too so Jeff doesn't have to take off work for an hour everyday. Ryan likes it as long as he has a ball to play with in the pool. He loves going down the slide too. Jane started out hating it for some reason, and now she has warmed up and likes it. She likes being in the more shallow areas so she can crawl like an alligator. She refuses to put her head under at all, and I've only had the heart to dunk her once (against her will)! I have her signed up for the beginner class in a month. It is without a parent, so we'll see how that goes.
If you can blow this picture up, check out my boy's outie! It's a beaut! I feel really bad for him that he has an outie, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Or should I say that's the way the umbilical cord fell off!
Anywho, my favorite part about swim lessons is not the outie, it's the amazingly long naps the kids take when we get home. They are so tired from all the swimming and sun that they sleep for about 3 hours!!! This is great for me because it really gives me a chance to catch up on some cleaning. But usually I don't really feel like cleaning, so I take a nap. I'm a stay at home mom, it's what I do.
