Swimming Pool

Jane has been begging to get out her little pool (which she calls her swimming poo). So I got it out a few days ago and we played in pretend water, but she got sick of pretend water. And since today was hot, we put real water in it. Jane and Ryan had so much fun. Ryan crawled through it first, but then realized that this is no bath water! Jane decided to clean her little chairs. I should have got more things out for her to clean! It's the teensiest thing ever, but at least they probably won't drown.

Marlboro Man

My friend Celeste got me hooked on this love story. It's the love story of city girl meets cowboy. It's like a book on line, and once you start reading, you just can't stop! You can start reading it here, but just be careful, I stayed up till 1:30 last night b/c I had to get caught up! When you go to the site, scroll down to the bottom entry to start reading. First vampires and now cowboys, thanks Celeste!

I'm Taller!

Today Jeff and I had a mini-physical to check out life insurance options. I told the girl I was 5'5'', but when she measured me she told me I was closer to 5'6''!! I've grown since the last time I was measured, which was what, in high school? Anyways, it's nice to be a tall person now!

Medford, Oregon

We had a fun vacation to Oregon this last week. The kids and I went with my parents and we took a road trip. Not that fun with the kids making a 13 1/2 hour drive, but we made it. We had tons of fun while we were there and it was so good to see Steve, Crissy, and Parker. They moved to Medford about 4 months ago for a job. Medford is a cool place. It is small, but big enough to have the staples, you know, Walmart, Costco, Olive Garden, Old Navy, etc. It has lots of smaller towns nearby that are cool places to visit. We went to a parade, went swimming, went to a House of Mystery, went shopping in a nearby town, and did a lot of sightseeing. Here are some pictures of some other things we did.
The first day we got there we had a mini birthday party for Parker and my mom.

We went to play at a park.
We saw the Medford Temple.
We also had a lot of time to just hang out and play, which Jane, Parker, and Ryan loved!!

The kids had so much fun running around (Ryan trying to crawl and catch up) and giving each other hugs. I am noticing that I am using the word fun a lot in this entry, but that's the best word to describe the trip! We made it home safely, and although we were sad to leave, it's always nice to be back in your own bed!
